Bad Habits

All human beings, for one reason or another, create an ability to develop the skill of bad habits. We adopted them at a very early age, and they're learning behaviors that serve our immediate needs and storing them in our brains to repeat those destructive behaviors then whenever we need them, only because it is easy and convenient for us to manage stressful situations, to managed stress, etc.

We develop those habits in our subconscious mind, and those harmful habit patterns are maintained because there are ways of behaving in a similar situation if needed.

We react to circumstances based on experiences stored in our subconscious mind. As soon as something happens, our subconscious mind activated an alarm telling us we will have a similar feeling to past experiences. We generalized and started acting the same as we did before because of the sense connected with past events.

How do we develop bad habits? 

Bad habits are primarily developed to serve legitimate needs; nevertheless, they produce negative results that damage your well-being, self-image, emotional relationships, professional career, and even your self-steen and, very often, physical health. For those reasons are considered harmful or destructive habits.

The most common bad habits are:

  • Smoking or tobacco dependency
  • Biting Nails
  • Hair Pulling
  • Drugs addiction
  • Excessive drinking
  • Overeating 
  • sleeping in
  • Being Late
  • Complaining
